Grenada is a sovereign state in the West Indies in the Caribbean Sea at the southern end of the Grenadines island chain. . The government system is a parliamentary democracy and a Commonwealth realm; the chief of state is the queen of the United Kingdom, and the head of government is the prime minister. Grenada has a mixed economic system which includes a variety of private freedom, combined with centralized economic planning and government regulation. Grenada is a member of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).

The Grenada Citizenship by Investment program is one of the newer Caribbean programs.

As an applicant, one must be at least 18 years of age, of good character and without a criminal record.
Additionally, applicants are required to make a non-refundable donation to the National Transformation Fund or make an investment in government-approved real estate projects.
