The AINP consists of the following immigration streams:
Alberta Opportunity Stream
This stream is a route to Canadian permanent residence for foreign workers already working in Alberta. Candidate needs a job offer from an employer in Alberta in order to be eligible for this stream along with the other program requirements i.e. Current legal status in Canada, education, language, work experience etc.
Alberta Express Entry Stream
Through this stream one can apply to Govt of Alberta to obtain Provincial nomination. Stream is aligned with the federal express entry system. Eligible candidates must have an active profile in Federal Express Entry System. Successful nomination under this stream results in 600 additional CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System)points.
