The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is the province’s economic immigration program. Ontario Immigration Nominee Program is divided into following categories

Employer Job Offer

The candidates must have a full time permanent job from an Ontario’s eligible employer to be eligible to apply under this category. This job offer based category has following three immigration streams.

  • In-Demand Stream If a foreign worker has a job offer from an eligible Ontario employer from agriculture, construction, trucking or personal support work industry, and full fill the program requirements he/ she can apply and get permanent residency of Canada.
  • Foreign Worker Stream Foreign workers must have a job offer from, an eligible Ontario employer to be eligible to apply under this stream. Job offer must be in a skilled occupation at Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupational Classification. Other requirements of the Stream must also be met.
  • International Student Stream. If you are an International student in or outside Canada, with a job offer from an eligible employer in a skilled occupation at Skill Type 0 or Skill Levels A or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC), and can meet all the requirements of the stream you have a chance to permanently live and work in Ontario.

Human Capital

Human Capital Stream is further divided into two sub-categories:

  • Ontario Express Entry system and
  • International Graduate system. 

Ontario Express Entry system is aligned with Federal Express entry system and the interested applicants are required to submit a profile under the Federal Express Entry system and receive an invitation to apply (Notification of Interest) from the government of Ontario to qualify for Ontario Express Entry system.

International Graduate System Candidates interested in should have obtained a master or PhD degree from an Ontario recognized university and have applied within two years of possessing the degree.
